Culture and Art of Edo Yoshiwara: Focusing on the Period of Tsutaya Shigesaburo
The Taiga Drama to be broadcast in 2025 will be "Belabo ～ Tsutaju Eika Yume Banashi ～". The main character of the drama, Tsutaya Shigsaburo, was born in Yoshiwara （ in 1750 ） in what is now Senzoku ）, Taito-ku, Tokyo, in Kan'ei 3 （. This exhibition introduces the little-known life and achievements of Tsutaya Shigsaburo and the world of Yoshiwara, a major center of culture and fashion, in advance of the Taiga Drama.
